Healing at the Center \u2122 offers grief education for two audiences: community members navigating loss in their personal lives, and helping professionals who encounter grief in their work every day.<\/p>\n<p>Workshops and learning series are available in person throughout Indiana and surrounding regions and virtually for participants across the country. These programs address the questions and challenges that come with navigating grief in everyday life: understanding different types of loss, supporting a grieving friend or family member, advance care planning, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Many community workshops are offered free of charge through grant-funded programming in Putnam County and Montgomery County. Others may have a nominal registration fee.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re processing your own grief or want to be better prepared to support someone you love, these workshops offer practical knowledge in an accessible manner.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tProfessional Education\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Many helping professionals &#8211; such as social workers, healthcare providers, first responders, clergy, and HR managers &#8211; regularly support people experiencing grief in their work. Yet many have had limited opportunities for formal training in how to navigate these moments with confidence and care.<\/p>\n<p>Professional education workshops are designed for individuals in high-impact positions including first responders, healthcare providers, and community leaders . These sessions build grief care competency through evidence-based content customized to the realities of your work.
