Mindfulness and Grief

Join Certified Grief Coach/Educator Jai Miranda for this 4-week introduction to living with grief. Among the ideas we will explore include:

  • Basic skills including using the breath and building mindful awareness,
  • How mindfulness works in the brain and the body to calm emotions and relieve stress.
  • How movement helps cultivate a mind/body connection
  • A non-judgmental approach to self-care

Part grief group and part meditation/yoga practice, each session begins with  a mindful topic, time for sharing, and ends with a short meditation or yoga practice.

This class is donation based, recommended minimum donation is $15 per session, payable in studio.
