This four week workshop introduces the essential role of macronutrients in a healthy diet.

Week 1 - Introduction to Macros
What are macros? understanding the role of macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) in our diet, how to calculate them and importance of tracking.

 Week 2  - Carbohydrates
The role of carbohydrates in energy production and metabolism, different types and their impact on blood sugar levels, how to best incorporate complex carbohydrates.

Week 3 - Proteins
The importance of protein for muscle repair and growth, how to calculate protein needs, high quality sources and how to incorporate them into your diet.

Week 4 - Fats
The role of fats in hormone production, brain function and health, different types of fats, how to balance fat intake.
