Yoga Classes
Originally a Yoga Studio, yoga remains the heart of Quest for Balance Wellness. We offer a variety of classes to meet each person's needs, and we regularly introduce new and additional classes.

Class Descriptions
Chair Yoga
Using the chair as a prop and source of support, this class explores variations in traditional yoga postures. Appropriate for anyone who has difficulty getting down and up from the floor or recovering from injury. Can also apply chair yoga to an office environment.
Power Yoga
As the name suggests, power yoga is focused on building strength and endurance. The class is built around an energetic flow of vinyasa and body weight exercise and is appropriate for intermediate to advanced fitness level.
Yoga For Strength & Mobility
A practice that integrates building strength, stability and flexibility. A vinyasa style yoga class, focusing on all large muscle groups and joints and, encouraging the body to move thoughtfully. Yogi's will experience challenges on the mat, yet find success as the class is suitable for all levels of experience.
Gentle Yoga
A gentle approach to yoga that incorporates standing, seated, and reclined poses that focus on mobilizing joints and promoting ease in the body. Gentle Flow combines both static poses and dynamic movement, gently encouraging the body to open in organic ways. The class is slow paced and offers modifications to meet each student’s personal ability level. No yoga experience is necessary.
Yoga for Everyone
This 60-minute class combines breathwork with movement in a variety of flows intended to gently stretch and move the body. All levels of experience welcome.
Class Descriptions
All Levels Vinyasa
A blend of alignment based yoga combined with creative sequencing and an emphasis on moving in sync with the breath. The practice will accommodate all levels, providing modifications for poses as needed, and offering more challenge for those who are ready. Some knowledge/experience with basic yoga poses or completion of the Intro. to Yoga workshop is recommended.
Chair Yoga

Community Yoga
This is a gentle class appropriate for all levels, offered once a week for $5.00.

Pilates
This class focuses on building core strength, enhancing spine health, and overall fitness. The class builds progressively over the six week period. All levels are welcome, no experience necessary.
Sunrise Yoga
Roll out of bed and warm up your body with intentional movement and breath work. Build energy as the practice progresses into sequences infused with sun salutations to greet the morning! Guaranteed to finish on time so you can get to work on time!
Yin Yoga
A slow, meditative yoga practice that helps you unravel deep-seated tension. In a yin class, you will be asked to hold seated or reclined postures for three to five minutes. You will slowly soften into the poses at a pace that feels good for your body. Yin is the perfect compliment to more active practices.
Meditation Vinyasa Flow
This begins with meditation and breathwork and moves into Vinyasa Flow. All are welcome, no experience necessary.
Yoga for Alignment & Balance
A practice that allows for postures to be held, explored and deepened. This class emphasizes alignment and somatic awareness as a way of cultivating our understanding of the body and bringing balance to the system.
