Community Drumming Friday December 13 at 6:15 just after Community Yoga. Meditation and Sound Healing Sunday on December 22 at 4:00pm will feature the use of singing bowls, tuning forks, tuned pipes and other instruments. Yin Yoga - Sunday, December 15

Debi Swinford offers this beautiful practice. Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative yoga practice that allows for lengthening of the connective tissues while unraveling deep-seated tension. In this yin class, you will be encouraged to hold seated or reclined postures for three to five minutes using various props. This allows your body to soften into the pose, and the mind can then move to a more meditative state.

DON'T Make a New Year's Resolution

Join Certified Life Coach and Studio owner j in this lively and interactive discussion about goal-setting and why we often don't persist in following through with the New Year’s resolutions we declare. Each participant will leave with a clearly articulated plan for making the change they want to see in 2020. Pre-registration is required. The $30 fee includes a workbook used during and after the workshop and a follow-up individual coaching session. Class is limited to 8 participants. Two sessions are offered: Wednesday December 11, 7:00-8:30pm or Saturday January 4, 2020, 10:30am-12:00pm.

Weekly Meditation and Sound Healing Sunday
Sunday afternoons at 4pm, join studio owner j as we join in a meditation practice and discussion about the benefits of mindfulness. December sound healing is 12/22. $5 donation.
Yoga for Alignment and Balance, Fridays at 10:15am
Led by Deanna Burkett, RYT200, this class emphasizes alignment and somatic awareness as a way to understand the body and bring balance to the system. Flowing sequences and sun salutations typical of a Vinyasa practice are not part of the class format, however, transitions between postures are intentionally guided. The class combines standing, seated, kneeling, supine, and prone positions with modifications gladly offered. Yogis will experience individual challenges on the mat and find success in the process. All levels welcome, no experience is necessary.
Mindful Living Series at CDPL
Join studio owner j for the last two sessions of the Mindful Living series at the Crawfordsville District Public Library. Wednesday November 20, 7-8pm focuses on Gratitude, Wednesday December 18, 7-8pm explores Generosity.
